Glad you liked it. :D

I haven't watched the Kung Fu Panda series, but this was genuinely such a good piece!

Thank you so much and yeah, give it a go if you have 100 minutes. It’s a damn good movie.

Such a great film analysis and realizations! My favorite is also the first movie. It’s awesome how a show meant mostly for kids can still continue to give us learnings in different stages of life.

Knowing who we are at the present moment truly gives such confidence and grace to move forward no matter the tribulations.

Also, 7 years old? I first watched this when I was a teen already. 😭

Thank you so much for the kind words. And yes, some of these animated movies are so much better than “grown-up” movies. (Looking at you Wuthering Heights movie)

And I was like 5 when the movie released, so it’s just a coincidence I saw it that early. Did find it funny but definitely not like it as much as I do today.

I loved it more than I thought I would. It was such a fun and refreshing read. The belief of knowing—you could always be more than what you already are, holds most of the answers itself.

You've done a great job writing it and I'd love to read more of these.

(P.S: Is this my sign to rewatch the movie for the 100th time?)

Thanks for the encouragement, and yeah I will write more such articles. I am so glad that people like the takes that were limited to the audience of one for some time.

(PS: Yes, if you have 2 hours, watch Kung Fu Panda. The learning to minute ratio on that movie is insane, even when it is so entertaining)

Loved this! Ahaha, I had a time in my life when I was obsessed with film & anime analysis; this made me nostalgic for that time 😭

That’s awesome. I have consumed so much analyses, now I want to create them. Glad you liked this one.

(Btw, which anime pulled you into the world of anime?)

omg that's such a loaded question ahaha, I spent a good portion of my childhood in the Philippines; so I've watched a ton. But grew up mostly on one piece, naruto, gintama (love love love), code geass, fullmetal, & of course, miyazaki films

AD_RN's avatar

Well, one good news is that even your children can grow up on One Piece. (I don't think it is going to end anytime soon)

I was a "Dragon Ball Z" guy. When I was 5, I used to be so excited whenever we had guests because that meant I could stay awake till late and watch the TV run of DBZ. Maybe I will write about it in the next analysis piece.

I love Naruto btw, could talk/argue for hours.

Ahahaha the life span of one might only ever be matched by detective conan loool

& oh yes, watched dragon ball z too! It was my cousin's fav; would be cool to see an analysis of it!

& ahaha, to be fair, naruto is rich in material & one of the best & looool, I had a friend who was obsessed with it; he really made me love it too. (‘:

I love this take. I used to binge watch video essays on the kung fu panda trilogy when i was going through an identity crises myself. I love how Po can’t fully figure himself out and that he has to reflect and discover himself all over again in every movie.

AD_RN's avatar

I get that binging feeling all too well. I have so much that can be talked about these 3 movies (yes, three), but if there’s one take I needed to put forward, it was this one. Glad it resonated with you.

PS: I decided to adorn my posts with pictures after I was enamored by the ones you used in yours. :D

Ayyy the pictures really add to the article
